There are these strange symbols on my disc? What do they mean?
On many DVDs, you may see symbols similar to the following.
These symbols identify the type of disc and some of its properties.
The symbols above mean:

- This disc contains 2-channels of audio.

- This disc is playable in players from all regions of the world.

- This disc contains video content with an aspect ratio of 4:3.
Some other symbols you might see are:

- This disc contains 1-channel of audio (mono).

- This disc contains 5.1 Dolby Digital audio (surround with LFE channel).

- This disc is playable only in players from region 1, North America.

- This disc contains video content with an aspect ratio of 16:9, sometimes referred to as widescreen or anamorphic.
